DSMRA GRADING SYSTEM

 LEVEL 0, Touring

Mostly open and relatively easy dirt roads. Rides will generally be of a longer distance but will often include some sight-seeing along the way. Dual sports bikes suck as the Honda Varadaro, BMW Dual Sports Off roader, Yamaha XTZ and KTM Adventure bikes would be used here.

 LEVEL 1, Easy

An easier dirt bike ride of mostly open fire trails for those with little or no dirt bike riding experience. May include a few obstacles but assistance will be provided if required.

 LEVEL 2, Bit Harder

Moderate trail ride for those with some trail riding experience. Possibly some tricky sections and natural obstacles.

 LEVEL 3, General

General trail ride for the competent rider with a well-maintained bike. May include single track, obstacles, river crossings, harder hills etc. Carry all your own equipment and have your bike well prepared.

 LEVEL 4, Hard

Difficult and/or long ride recommended for experienced riders only. Carry all you own equipment and have your bike well prepared. Contact ride leader for details.
