DSMRA Canberra, ACT

Welcome To DSMRA Canberra Branch

About the Branch:

The ACT DSMRA boasts a large group of members and is responsible for for running the annual DSMRA Kowen Forest Ride. The Kowen ride attracts more than 800 riders from across Australia for 2 days of hard enduro riding in a commercial pine plantation on ACT's eastern border. This Tuesday 12 September 2023 we have a special meeting at BMW Motorrad Phillip starting at 6:30pm all welcome. We regularly have 20+ members attend the meetings, and we welcome new and prospective members to the meeting with a smile.

We run regular grade 2 and 3 rides in the Tallaganda State Forest to the East and the Brindabella Range to the West. There's also a small section of the Cotter where we also ride (Pierces Creek area), but take great care not avoid the catchment areas.

Rides are listed on the web site, and we encourage more experienced riders to run rides for the broader group. New riders are more than welcome to participate in an introductory ride or a lower grade ride first (usually the Braidwood Bakery ride) before joining. You must be licensed and registered to ride on public roads (including fre trails).
